Official Style w// Mitch Harmer photos by Mikey Whyte

I had the pleasure of meeting @mitchell_harmer mid last year when we were working together at the David Jones SS 16 Runway.

He's an awesome guy with a killer look. Luckily for me Last week Mitch was in Melbourne and got together with me and my buddy @mikeywhytephoto  for a little test shoot.

I had enough time to squeeze in a couple of questions too!

Q: When were you born and where?

A: I was born on the 13/07/1995 at Mona Vale hospital on the Northern Beaches.

Q: What's your current aspirations for life?

A: I'm studying Economics at the University of Sydney, which could be useful for me in later life. But at the moment I'm just looking to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way, especially in the fashion industry.

Q: Where do you see modelling taking you?

A: I'd like to think the sky's the limit. I've surrounded myself with good people in the industry and they're guiding me in the right direction. I've also recently signed with a new agency Chadwick Models Australia and am really looking forward to developing with them.

Q: Whats your idea of the best day out?

A: Waking up in the morning to a large cappuccino and banana bread, then going and spending the entire day at the beach soaking up the sun and surfing with mates .

Q: Your favourite meal?

A: My mum makes the best home made lasagna!!!

Q: If you could say something to yourself five years ago what would it be?

A: To be honest this isn't an easy question... but I guess 5 years ago when I was back in school I had the dream of pursuing a career as a professional AFL player... but things change, and you just have to stay positive and makes the most of every opportunity that comes your way... so I guess that would be the advice.

Q: Who inspires you?

A: Might sound cliche, but my parents are huge inspirations for me. They're always there for me, and have always supported me.

Q: Whats something you wish you didn't have to do?

A: I wish I never had to clean my car... black cars are the hardest thing to keep clean haha

Q: Something someone had said to you that you will never forget?

A: My grandparents always said 'don't worry be happy', and that's always helped me put hings into perspective.

Q: Your most embarrassing situation?

A: There have been a few haha one that will always stick with me was back in junior footy. I had heaps of deep heat on around my groins in an attempt to loosen them up, and somehow managed to get it onto the family jewels... the heat/ pain was unbearable and I had to leave training early.

Cheers for your time mate!

Super excited to see what Mitchell gets up to this year! You can follow him @mitchell_harmer on instagram
